So my Health Teacher is spreading lies again... and on Thursday (next class period) He will be talking about "Complex" carbohydrates. On that page he mentions WHOLE grains and stuff of the like. I would like to ask him some challenging questions. What kind of things should i ask him to where he wouldn't have much of an answer, and if he does have an answer what else can i continue to ask? I would like to expose the myths, AS myths.

Also some things he said today was low fat milk is healthier cuz it's lower in fat...

I heard two things yesterday... Green Tea boosts metabolism, idk how it would.
and what about the statement of eating at night to help weight loss.
ie. eating then sleeping promotes food storage.
I didn't think it worked like that because the body is still in constant state of anabol/canabolism...
but wasn't completely sure.

thanks i just want to be able to challenge the teacher. or maybe send him some articles again.

1. http://www.nutritionjrnl.com/article/PI ... 3/fulltext

2. Whole milk is healthier. Search through pubmed

3. Green tea might increase metabolism... through caffeine

4. Time does matter a bit but... most that matters is quality and quantity.

5. Eating then sleeping is fine. Sleep is anabolic so it's not bad to eat before sleeping either.

You could always ask him if all fats are bad, and if he says yes, then ask why they're so essential to our diet. If he says no, then ask why milk fat specifically is bad.
